A Weekend That Was

I was out on another getaway over the weekend and I have to say it was probably one of the most “wicked” getaway ever. I’ve always been known as the reserved type. Yeah I “bark” but I never ever “bite”. But last Sunday, I stayed true to my mantra prior to the getaway…

“I will throw all caution the wind and be shameless for once!”

And that, I did!

Sunday night, a friend and I went out for a walk along the pebbly sands of Puerto Galera, Mindoro. I wasn’t expecting anything to happen nor was I looking for anything to happen. We simply wanted some fresh air. On our way back, we bumped into this hotness and I can tell that the hotness has the hots for me too. I totally forgot about my friend and I was so into flirting with “hotness”…

** This is the part where I’m supposed to tell you all the gory details but I am not the tell-all type. But yeah, something happened 🙂 **

Now that the weekend is over, I am so back to my reality: WORK. WORK. WORK.

Back to the same old boring me. Back to my old reserved self. Back to the lame old me.

And that was the weekend I won’t forget anytime soon. Who knows, I might be “wicked” enough one day and I’ll throw all my inhibitions away… We’ll see 🙂

Weekend Getaway

The past couple of weeks was crazy and I need to get away from it all. I was feeling so drained and empty that I simply have to get away. A weekend rendezvous with a bottle of Shiraz and Vodka in the beach sounds so appealing. So earlier today, right after I got home, I checked Air Philippines‘ website and booked myself a flight to Palawan. Good thing there was a seat left. (I think that was specially for me)

After about 5 minutes, I’ve booked a flight to Coron (USU) but I’ve no hotel yet. But that’s perfectly fine. I’ll look for a place to stay once I’m there. For now, I’ll enjoy the moment. I’ll savor the “ME” time. Just me.
