Clean Start Project

Another sleepless night and I was scouring YouTube looking for cute animals and I found this video instead. It struck a nerve because I sometimes feel the same way.

Being alone is tough. And it is tougher if you’ve no one to turn to. Some can simply shake it off while others sink in the pits of depression.

It’s never too late to lend a helping hand. It’s never too late to reach out. It’s never too late to light a spark of hope.

We have to power to change what’s wrong. We have to capacity to make someone’s life a whole lot better. We have the power to start the chain reaction for improvement…

We are our own power.

Clean Start Project

A clean start can help a person move forward through a difficult time and provide an opportunity for change where none existed before. The Clean Start Project encourages people to think about what they can do in the service of others. No matter your location, age, or income, you have some resource, knowledge, or ability that can be used to help someone else. The Clean Start Project revolves around the idea that social change starts on the individual level, and that helping even one person can lead to change in an entire community.

Merry Christmas

December 25, 2011 – 12:43am

Another year has passed and I’m still spending Christmas alone.

Family is thousands of miles away. But I know our hearts are still connected under those shining bright stars. Yep! We are still under this big old world.

They say Christmas is for family get-together and the time of giving. Well what about us who are celebrating Christmas alone? Are we not to celebrate the season?

I’d say Christmas is all about remembering. Remembering the ties we’ve built and the connections we’ve made. Remembering the people who have touched our lives and made life worth living. Remembering those close to our hearts and the memories we’ve created and shared.

Christmas for me are the memories engraved in my heart forever.

Christmas for me is…

May you all have a blessed Christmas.

Merry Christmas everyone!
